Grocery Outlet faced ordering challenges due to the highly dynamic nature of their inventory. Apex helped them build a tablet-based ordering system based on the IBM BPM platform which resulted in increased order fill rates, and new capabilities for tracking order margin and truck utilization rates.
Apex facilitated Envisioning sessions to help multiple internal stakeholders, including call center, sales, IT, and operations. Apex guided discussion of the design considerations, made recommendations and implemented prototypes.
