Expanding into New Markets
VPay wanted to develop a new solution in a new market for mobile-friendly claims payment approvals to provide more payment options and faster payments. Apex brought this vision to life in just a couple of weeks with IBM BAW and an Envisioning project, leading to customers signing up for the new offering based on the prototype demonstration.

Automated Migration Utility
A client needed a POC to establish how to migrate in-flight process instances while moving their BAW installation from Oracle to SQLServer. Apex developed an innovative approach to instance-by-instance migration that supported the process architecture in use, and developed an application to automate the migration activities.

No Code Forms for Faster Implementation
At First Horizon, Apex built a business friendly forms editing capability on top of IBM BAW for the Loan Operations team. This enabled business users to create and maintain the user interfaces for over 600 unique process steps across over 100 loan operations processes.

Extend the reach of IBM BAW with a 'micro app' to achieve certain types of integration quickly and easily. For example, integration with a system that uses a Webhook pattern (like Docusign) can be quickly achieved with a micro-app in the cloud to handle the callback.

Aptiv’s engineering change process includes complex cost estimation spreadsheets driven from data in their Oracle system of record. Apex built a micro app that gathers the data, fills in the spreadsheet and adds it to the process instance for review and approval.
